About DhanSutra
Who writes DhanSutra, why it exists, and how it's different from a generic finance blog.
DhanSutra started from a simple frustration: most personal finance content in India is either a generic "best mutual funds to buy" list, or an ad for a product. Neither actually helps someone sitting with a real ₹42 lakh home loan, a real credit card bill that's quietly compounding, or a real decision about whether to prepay a loan or keep investing.
Every case study on this site is built the same way: a real number, a real decision, and the actual math behind it, shown openly (client names are used with permission; portfolio specifics are withheld per confidentiality agreements). The calculators use the exact same formulas as the case studies, so you can run your own numbers instead of taking anyone's word for it.
