Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and how it's protected. Last updated 11 July 2026.

What this policy covers

This page explains what personal data DhanSutra.co.in collects when you read the site, subscribe to DhanSutra Weekly, book a 1:1 consultation, or use the contact form, and what we do with it.

Information we collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. When you book a 1:1 consultation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the topic and time slot you select, so the session can be scheduled and confirmed. When you use the contact form, we collect whatever name, email, and message you choose to submit. We do not ask for or store any financial account numbers, passwords, or payment card details on our own servers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: which articles are read, how long people stay, and which pages lead to a booking. This is aggregated, anonymised usage data. Google's own privacy policy governs how it processes this data on our behalf.

Cookies

The site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function, though usage analytics will be incomplete.

How we use your information

Email addresses collected through the newsletter form are used only to send DhanSutra Weekly and occasional article updates. Booking details are used only to schedule and deliver your 1:1 consultation, and to follow up on the one free WhatsApp question within 48 hours as described on the booking page. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

Newsletter subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Booking and contact form submissions are retained as long as reasonably needed to deliver the service and maintain basic business records, after which they may be deleted.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Hostinger and uses Google Analytics as described above. Payment for consultations, where applicable, is processed by a third-party payment gateway that has its own privacy policy; DhanSutra does not store your card or UPI details.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To make a request, use the contact details below.

Security

We take reasonable technical precautions (HTTPS encryption, restricted admin access) to protect the data we hold, but no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site's features change. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
